Instruierende Texte für Kinder in Zeiten der Corona-Pandemie: Eine multimodale Diskursanalyse der Anleitungsvideos zu Corona-Tests der Augsburger Puppenkiste

  • During the COVID-19 pandemics, we have to deal with a large number of rules and standards published by the government, aiming at influencing the behavoiur of the citizens in order to slow the spread of a potential lethal virus and to keep infection rates low. While most of the information is addressed to adults, some texts are conceived with a special focus on children; this is the case for texts explaining the correct use of Corona tests which at a certain point in time became mandatory in schools. The present article aims at describing, based on a multimodal discourse analysis, the use of verbal strategies as well as the combination of verbal and non-verbal elements in two videos of the Augsburger Puppenkiste, with regards to the instructive function of the texts.
